Dr. Jafari is a board-certified orthodontist. To become an Orthodontist, one must
complete an additional training of 2-3 years at an accredited orthodontics residency
program after completing dental school. To become a board-certified orthodontist, one must:
- Pass a rigorous written and clinical exam administered by the American Board
of Orthodontics (ABO) - Demonstrate expertise in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics
- Commit to lifelong learning and staying up-to-date with the latest techniques
and research - Earn the designation of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics
(ABO)
Board certification is a voluntary process that demonstrates an orthodontist’s
